Main Responsibilities

• This position will work on architecting, designing and developing a C++ framework that will work on Android and iOS platforms.
• The position will involve GPU development for data visualization.
• Research and implement new algorithms for data processing and visualization with performance in mind.

Skills needed

• C++11 and above development.
• Good knowledge of Multi-threading, Design patters, Data Structures and Algorithms
• Knowledge of OpenGL and shader development.
• Unit testing.
• Ability to perform complex engineering work with minimal guidance.
• C++11 and above with memory management knowledge.
• Ability to document code correctly.
• Good verbal skills and ability to communicate.
• Git or source control repositories.

Skills that will stand out

• Knowledge of Vulkan.
• Build systems knowledge such as CMake.
• Mobile development.
• Swift and/or Kotlin experience.
• GPU profiling experience.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
