We are looking for an entrepreneurial-style Application Sales Rep for Oracle’s CX Sales team...someone with drive, who will walk through brick walls without having to be asked to achieve whatever goal is in front of them. This role is perfect for someone inherently curious. A person who loves what they do and devours information related to their field, their profession and their craft. They read about it, study it, talk to other people about it... immerse themselves in it, continuously. And work proactively to stay current in it. We are seeking a passionate and talented Application Sales Rep to join our team.
Primary job duty is to sell Oracle Marketing Cloud Software-as-a-Service Solutions to prospective customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
What you will do
- Sell our award winning solutions to high quality accounts in the Enterprise-Market Segment
- Generate, develop and close new business. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Call on senior-level executive contacts (CEO, CFO, SVP, CMO)
- Manage a highly consultative, complex sales cycle
- Work closely with prospective clients to understand their business objectives and create the most appropriate solution to meet their needs
- Work in a team environment with account managers to retain and grow accounts
- Create and manage territory and account plans
- Engage with our Strategic accounts and prospects at strategic level to drive commercial value
- Develop Industry focused value proposition to position CX solutions as key in delivering business value
- Support overall CX Sales and Solutions Engineers goals and strategic priorities
- Support CX Cloud Go To Market campaigns
- Set up and run discovery customer workshops
- Develop content and represent Oracle CX Cloud in some of our public events and webinars

- Adopt at driving two way communication by clearly articulating value proposition and teaching to customer’s pain points
- Can quickly develop a deep knowledge of customer’s business and discuss issues from multiple angles
- You keenly track economic and industry activity and understands its implications on customer business
- You know how to develop customer advocates who sell and build consensus
- You understand the decision making process and have the ability to influence key decision makers
- Experience selling high end Software as a Service solutions or consulting services to large enterprises
- Experience leveraging social media to drive contacts
- Experience selling to senior level business owners (head of business unit) or IT Directors is a strong asset.
- Looking for an experience CX Marketing practitioner, who understand business operations
- Experience in having business and technical conversation at C-level
- Commercially focused and able to demonstrate to customers return on investment on technology investment
- Has lead digital transformation projects
- CX Industry expertise in any of the following verticals is a plus: Retail, Financial Services, Telco, Automotive, or hospitality.
- Have a good knowledge about designing customer CX technology architecture
- Looking for energetic, creative and passionate CX strategist, who is keen to learn, add value to our customer.
- Curious and innovative person, who is proactive and willing to try new things.
- Person who is familiar with CX Technologies across Marketing, Sales and Service. The Ideal candidate has a strong Marketing knowledge and direct experiences about AdTech and MarTech.
- Person who has relationship with MarTech Partner and AdTech Agency ecosystem.
- Confident presenter and public speaker
- Good communication verbal and written skills and is comfortable getting their hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done.
- Have the obsession to drive a better customer experience through everything we do
- Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Fluent English required
- Independence and flexibility in dealing with multiple complex issues

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
