Trials & Universal Credits Business Analyst, JAPAC ODPTech
Role Summary & Requirements\:
· This role will be responsible for providing high quality, responsive Operations & Analytics support to Oracle’s ODP Customer Acquisition & Development Teams. Successful candidates will have exposure in supporting either internal or external customers. Strong reporting & analytical skills, professional-level English written and verbal skills and a commitment to high quality internal customer service are essential also.
Detailed Role Description\:
· Develops and monitors Trial conversions, Develops and monitors metrics to measure key performance indicators and group performance
· Act as knowledge expert on the PayG and UC end to end processes and systems
· Act as a bridge between the Customer Acquisition & Development teams and various other supporting functions (Territory Management, Sales Process Team, GSO, Bus Ops, BDC, etc.)
· Gain an understanding of the business priorities and challenges of the Consultants and Managers
· Meet Support KPIs and targets, and communicate activity metrics to management
· Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet corporate specifications
· Research & organizing skills necessary to enrich data, build mature reporting processes and other related tasks
· Prepares executive review presentation decks, to communicate team performance & highlight insights, trends & issues
· Ability to collect, organize, and display complex data sets in summary spreadsheet & presentation formats
· Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected; relationship management skills strongly desired
· Keep current on new releases and enhancements
· Undertake administrative responsibilities and other projects as required
· Drives compliance to policies and procedures that monitor and support the organization’s operational and financial business objectives
· Provides analysis and advice to management in the areas of operations, resource management, finance, revenue accounting, pricing, etc.
· Support new application rollouts and participate in testing of new application
Preferred Qualifications\:
· Bachelor Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Information Systems or related
· Good PC skills, esp. in Excel, PowerPoint & Visio
· 6-8 years of data analytics experience, with prior experience in report creation & generation
· Attention to detail is critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and mathematical skills
· Should be a bright, sharp, eager learner, with strong problem-solving skills
· Collaborative team player with the ability to effectively work remotely with team-members across geographies & time-zones
· Strong work ethic with a commitment to delivery excellence is a must
· Proactive, sense of ownership, with a positive ‘Can Do’ Attitude
· Should be results orientated
· Prior Sales Operations experience, and exposure to supporting Sales Reps is a plus
· Ability to work independently and in a dynamic environment
· Work is non-routine and complex, is data intensive, and involves the application of technical skills and business understanding
Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
