Responsibilities\:

• Perform changes to OS, databases, applications, servers, storage, network, and backups in the data center as well as development environments.
• Support, maintain, keep current large scale, high-performance production environment and infrastructure.  
• Administer and troubleshoot issues relating to all the changes.
• Demonstrate ability to learn new technologies and tools.
• Attend change and release management meetings to ensure communication of approved and planned changes
• Be part of an on-call rotation during weekends and public holidays
• Knowledge of build and release procedures and processes (build/configure/administer/troubleshoot/test/deploy).
• Ad hoc troubleshooting of change and release blockers (hardware, configuration, code).
• Manage releases and changes into multiple, geographically-dispersed production datacenters. Responsible for staging and deploying every release of the NetSuite core application.
• Testing new release procedures and tools with an emphasis on Oracle database.
• Maintain code changes using configuration management system (Perforce, Git, Bitbucket).
• Participate in RCA and continuous improvements.
• While production release operations are your primary responsibility, you will also have opportunities to put on your developer hat for scripting and automation projects to optimize our release processes.

Required Skills\:

• 2 years Build/Release experience (Java-based is an advantage)
• 2 years experience working on Unix platforms with RHEL Preferred.
• 2 years, hands-on experience supporting large scale, mission critical production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to support Release Operations\: production environments, mission-critical internal tools administration in a Help Desk, and zero downtime framework.
• Familiar with SDLC and with CI/Deployment methodologies and automation tools frameworks
• Ability to write and maintain scripts (Bash, Python) to automate processes and enhance productivity.
• Basic knowledge of Java, SQL, Oracle, Jetty.
• Familiarity with Databases (Oracle) and/or Open source technologies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, capable of working independently when needed.
• A passion for automation, capacity/performance management, storage concepts, high availability
• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems / Computer Science

Desired Skills\:

• Experience with cloud services (i.e. AWS/Azure/Google Cloud/OCI).
• Experience with orchestration and remote execution\: Saltstack, etc
• Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under deadlines.
