Preferred Qualifications\:
Oracle Managed Cloud Services experts use Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)–based processes and automation to manage our customer's Oracle software footprint on proven configurations across the entire Oracle technology stack. Managed Cloud Services Technical Operations provides software installation, configuration and ITIL-based Change, Incident, Problem & Release Management activities during implementation, production go-live and post-production (run & maintain) phases of a customer's life-cycle.As a member of Oracle Managed Cloud Services your focus is to provide technical support guidance for migration,upgrade, and implementation services. This involves working closely with Customer,TMs, global implementation team, and Internal Ops team and following existing process documents. Good understanding of Oracle database , Oracle Application, Fusion middleware, and application's Customization and Interface structure would be helpful.
This position requires experience and proficiency with configuring, troubleshooting, managing, and maintaining the following Oracle technologies\:
Education & Experience\:
- BS with 15 years of relevant experience or MS with 10 years of experience may be considered
Functional/Technical Knowledge & Skills\:
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong understanding of Cloud ERP product(s) , Database, BI from administration point of view.
- Technical skills \: ERP Business suite, ASCP, Demantra, Peoplesoft, Database, Fusion Middleware , Exadata
- Chef & Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Teamcity, etc
- Have understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous DevOps tools/processes
- Mentor junior engineers and OMCS community
- Collaborate well with development and other cross functional teams.
- Participate in organizational activities as deemed.
- Experience working with top consulting companies
- understand operation processes and procedures quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail in every action and activities
As a member of the IT organization, lead the design, development, modification, debugging, and evaluation programs for extremely complex internal systems. Provide expertise to analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new internal systems. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.
Provide leadership and expertise in extremely complex internal systems, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommend and justify major changes to existing internal systems. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Ten or more years of related experience recommended.
