Cloud Education Sales Director

 

Oracle University (OU) is seeking to hire a dynamic Cloud Education Sales Leader to accelerate OU’s Cloud expansion, in Africa. The role will focus on driving incremental revenue through the sale of Cloud enablement and adoption solutions across Oracle’s wide ranging product portfolio including Digital Cloud Learning Services, In-Application Guided Learning and Certification.

 

Scope:

To develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the Oracle Cloud Education market in Africa, and achieve bookings, revenue, and profit objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reports to OU Cloud Middle East & Africa Leader.
  • Leader of Africa Cloud Sales team.
  • Supports sales reps to develop, grow and close pipeline to achieve fiscal year targets.
  • Works closely with senior leadership in Africa across Software and Services sales to ensure Cloud enablement and adoption solutions are integrated into overall customer solutions.
  • Represents Oracle University Cloud sales as the external and internal spokesperson for Africa.
  • Works with OU Regional and Global leaders to develop and promote overall OU Cloud go-to-market strategy.
  • Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction with OU Cloud Services

 

Accountabilities:

  • Full Sales responsibility for OU Cloud in Africa and is expected to consistently achieve bookings and revenue targets.
  • Establishes OU Cloud and its partners as the “Supplier of choice” to deliver Oracle Education services.
  • Supports, coaches and mentors individuals to achieve business goals and development needs.
  • Hire the right sales candidates to support growth of Africa business.
  • Identifies, maintains and deploys an internal and external network of people who can support achievement of plans.
  • Acts as executive sponsor on specific sales opportunities
  • Operates in line with Oracle’s processes and procedures

 


Professional Experience:

  • Extensive experience in leading a Sales organization, ideally in the IT Services Industry, with proven track record of exceeding targets
  • Understands Africa IT Services Market
  • Used to working in complex, fast moving IT environment
  • Demonstrates experience of managing change
