We are looking for a talented, self-directed candidate to drive cloud implementations and sales in mid-enterprise segment through selected team of Cloud Implementation Partners (CIPs).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the CIP channel manager, you will be responsible for the development of partner implementation skills, their engagement in the implementation of cloud projects in mid-enterprise segment, cloud consumption they are driving and for the generation of new business with partners by sales and marketing activities.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Oracle sales and technical teams to ensure CIP engagement in project implementation, to drive implementation success and cloud consumption, to create business opportunities with new prospects and existing customers.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years experiences in Channels & Alliances / Partner Development or Partner Management experience, ideally working with SIs
  • Solid sales/marketing skills including needs analysis, business justification and closing methodologies
  • Negotiating skills and ability to influence
  • Ability to understand partner and customer business and core processes
  • Ability to learn and understand product solutions and features
  • Solid knowledge of Oracle’s cloud portfolio, ideally some knowledge about competitive cloud offerings; 2-3 years in a technical role is a strong advantage
  • Self-Starter, result focused, self-motivated, track record of quota achievement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational, project management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • University degree, fluent English, willing to travel

Increasing Oracle cloud consumption by successful cloud implementations is a key success factor of Oracle’s go to market strategy and this is what the CIP channel manager will be responsible for.

Builds long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners.

Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity. Prefer strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills. Prefer 8 years of related experience with a secondary education in Marketing or a related field.
