We're looking for a highly motivated, experienced and smart engineer to work on the development infrastructure for Oracle Cloud core components. This person will be responsible for the architecture, development, and operations of fully automated build, development and QA infrastructure which works in the Cloud and on on-premises server farms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, and mainеtain of fully automated infrastructure based on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for building and testing key Oracle products like Oracle Linux, UEK, etc.
• Troubleshoot hardware (servers, storages, network) and software (OS, kernel, third-party tools) issues on a daily basis
• Сommunicate with internal customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong technical background
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps with at least one major cloud platform (Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure) and deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker Swarm, Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of Linux OS and networking
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins CI/CD tools is a big plus
• Good knowledge of Python and shell scripting

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
