Job Description
As Technology Cloud Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of Cloud Engineers who are the trusted technical point of contact for internal teams and Oracle Digital cloud customers. You will leverage your broad experience to work closely with sales leadership to plan and ensure successful launch and operations of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure workloads. You will lead internal reviews while constantly seeking ways to improve your customer’s OCI experience. If you have a strong Cloud Platform (IaaS & PaaS) knowledge, presales background and solid people management and coaching skills, and we have the right opportunity for YOU.  

The focus areas are: 

• Manage a team of Cloud Engineer specialists covering Oracle’s PaaS & IaaS portfolio.
• Provide leadership and direction for the Cloud Engineering specialist team to ensure quality of service and to meet business objectives.
• Monitor team member performance, develop their skills and expertise to required level.
• Provide guidance in deep architectural considerations to ensure proposed solutions are complete and optimized.
• Understand customer’s cloud evaluation criteria, their current environment, the companies being evaluated and provide a comprehensive comparison of Oracle IaaS and PaaS offerings.
• Manage the relationship and communication with various stakeholders to ensure customers satisfaction with Oracle Cloud. 
• Provide reporting on the state of the business.                  

Success will be realized by achieving PaaS/IaaS solution adoption successfully and by growing customers cloud consumption steadily. 

Job Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in technical presales or cloud architect role. 
• Strong knowledge of PaaS and IaaS solutions.
• 5+ years of people management experience leading a team in technical environment. 
• Proven ability to identify and implement superior quality of PaaS and IaaS workloads.
• Structured coaching and skills development methods
• Strong Analytical and report interpretation capabilities.
• Oracle background and or product knowledge is a plus.
• Regular over-achievement of goals or targets in previous roles is expected.
• Ability to work in a fast-changing environment.
• IT BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
