Job Description

You will lead a team of Cloud Engineer Specialists who connect with PAYG customers in APAC and Japan remotely/online to take them through their Cloud adoption journey. As a Leader, you will drive your team to achieve business goals, ensure a high quality of service and lead change transformation. If you have solid technology sales background with strong people management and analytical skills, and a good grasp of Cloud Platform (IaaS & PaaS) knowledge, we have the right opportunity for YOU.

The focus areas are:

· Managing a team of Cloud Engineer specialists covering Oracle’s PaaS & IaaS portfolio.

· Providing leadership and direction for the Cloud Engineering specialist team to ensure quality of service and to meet business objectives.

· Monitor team member performance, develop their skills and expertise to required level.

· Understand customer’s cloud evaluation criteria, their current environment, the companies being evaluated and provide a comprehensive comparison of Oracle IaaS and PaaS offerings.

· Support and guide existing Oracle Cloud PAYG customers by understanding their current infrastructure to identify and prioritize areas they can benefit by migrating to Oracle IaaS and PaaS.

· Lead by example to identify and secure upsell opportunities based on customer’s existing environment.

· Manage the relationship and communication with various stakeholders to ensure customers satisfaction with Oracle Cloud.

· Ensure that all team members are fluent in serving as PAYG customer’s advocate inside Oracle.

· Provide reporting on the state of the business.

Success will be realized by achieving PaaS/IaaS solution adoption successfully and by growing customers cloud consumption steadily.

 

Job Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience in Technical Sales role. Knowledge of PaaS and IaaS solutions is the advantage.

· 3+ years of people management experience leading a team in technical environment.

· Strong track record of sales accomplishments, commercial acumen.

· Proven ability to engage with senior business executives and IT personas; strong communications skills to develop and cultivate lasting customer relationships.

· Ability to work under pressure, to resolve positively the conflict customer issues.

· Strong Analytical and report interpretation capabilities.

· Experience in management of high-volume business processes.

· Oracle background and or product knowledge is a plus.

· Regular over-achievement of goals or targets in previous roles is expected.

· Understanding of sales methodologies processes and disciplines.

· Ability to work in a fast-changing environment.

· IT BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
