QA Tester
What you do?
As a Jr. QA Tester in the Oracle Retail Consulting group, you will design, test and evaluate quality control methods and systems. You can also help to design of a automation framework to provide quality guidance and methods.

You will be working on implementation projects alongside a development team. Responsible for testing React applications, websites, formulating automation/manual test plans, writing and executing test cases, preparing automation frameworks. Liaison with development team, IT team and stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and provide recommendation for QA implementation and solutions
- Agreeing project objectives and test execution
- Representing the client's interest
- Providing independent advice on the management of projects
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis
- Communicate effectively with business units, IT Operations/Development, Project Management and other support staff on testing timelines, deliverables, test matrix and status.
- Implement automation frameworks using Selenium and Serenity
- Execute cross browser, platform and mobile device testing
- Run, maintain and debug automation scripts
Required Skills
· At least 1 year of experience in QA testing
· QA/Testing experience with Web & Mobile (Manual or Automation)
· Extensive experience managing and influencing the technical direction and strategy within a global e-commerce organisation
- Minor experience automating functional testing of software (ideally using Javascript frameworks), using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, Rest-assured or Wiremock
- Understanding with entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, non-functional, Systems, User Acceptance, end-to-end, Stress & Scale, Smoke & Sanity)
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures to support various development methodologies
- A proven ‘lean thinking’ approach, a clear vision on what level of testing Is ‘enough’ and where to focus the team’s resources for optimal results
- Highly organized, detail oriented, extremely responsive and able to prioritise many tasks and work in areas of high ambiguity
- Thorough understanding of different test strategies, implementations and adaptions, with an ability to understand and apply the best tools for the job
- Passion, enthusiasm for and a deep interest in technology and software engineering
- Communicative level of English language

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
