Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager Total Rewards the Compensation & Benefits Consultant will be an integral part of the Canada HR team with responsibility for maintaining up-to-date compensation data, reporting, and support to several lines of business.

 

As the point of contact for Compensation related matters for the LOB's you support, you will consult with HR Business Partners and provide salary recommendations for new hires, transfers and promotions.  You will also be responsible for conducting job evaluations, completing salary surveys and data analysis.  In addition, you will be the key contact for the LOB's you support for all Benefit related matters including managing short term and long-term disability cases, MAT leaves, personal leaves of absence and accommodation requests.


The ideal candidate will possess the following\:


  • BA in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years compensation related experience in a large organization combined with 1 year of benefits experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with MS Office including advanced Excel skills; familiarity with HRIS systems
  • Ability to juggle priorities and manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines
  • Aptitude for analyzing data along with a keen eye for detail

!|!Participates in the research, design and implementation of compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Responsible for job evaluation, salary administration, survey participation, and data analysis.

As a member of Corporate Compensation you will assist in the design and implementation of Oracle*s global total compensation programs including base salary, cash incentives, and stock options. Will interface with Oracle*s web tools to support compensation programs.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills in partnering with HR and management. Familiarity with HRIS systems and Excel spreadsheets is essential. 2 years compensation experience and BA/BS degree.!|!
