THE ROLE:

At Siemens digital factory in Chengdu (SEWC), our QM Component Engineering team looking for a Component (Quality) Engineer.

Working with a wide range of internal partners (e.g. R&D, IT, Procurement, Production, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service & Product Management) and a scale of suppliers (e.g. material vendors, software & IT service providers), the role is aiming to drive & ensure best-in-class quality via her/his technical competence & quality know-how.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Engage new product development & introduction process, ensure close loop quality management throughout design, production & service phase.
2. Setup quality specification, requirements & inspection plan for materials, also for product & process when necessary.
3. Introduction and qualification of new parts.
4. Manage quality complaints detected from customer, production & incoming inspection.
5. Facilitate digital transformation in quality area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, majored in Electronic / Mechatronics / Mechanical engineering.
2. ≥3 years experiences in a quality function or similar.
3. Initiative, self-organized fast learner in a dynamic environment.
4. Fluent English.
5. Digital technology (e.g. Machine Learning / Data Analytics…etc.) and relevant programming skill is a plus.
