Oracle Product Release group (Prague site) is seeking a Configuration Analyst who will work within the Product Release team to administer Oracle’s internal installations of Oracle CPQ, which is a Configuration, Pricing, and Quoting application.
The role will involve daily maintenance and release work as well as development activities supporting feature and functionality enhancements. Specifically, a Configuration Analyst will be expected to collaborate with US based fellow Configuration Analysts, Cloud Release Analysts, as well as various product management and system development teams to support product configuration and quoting rules in CPQ. Responsibilities also include helping to define business processes while developing and implementing new configuration objects and enhancements to support product configuration for Oracle’s Cloud Products and Services.
Role responsibilities:
Review, analyze and implement changes to configuration models derived from the business requirements.
Responsible for providing technical requirements to CPQ developers that accommodate business requirements.
Define and verify through testing acceptance criteria identified in user stories and development tasks.
Estimate level of effort for development and administration of functionality and participate in sprint grooming activities with team.
Identify acceptance criteria and test cases for tasks and execute tests within application to insure work is delivered with high quality that meets user requirements.
Analyze new CPQ Product features, understand new functionality, and determine how it can be applied to Oracle’s CPQ Cloud implementation.
Ability to travel as necessary.

Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
Detail oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
Strong business acumen (able to obtain essential information about a situation, focus on the key objectives, recognize the relevant options available for a solution, select an appropriate course of action and set in motion an implementation plan to get the job done)
Basic frontend user interface / user experience skills
Experience with SQL or any similar structured query language
Experience with HTML and CSS.
Knowledge of software programming best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
2-3 years relevant experience and/or BS degree in related field (Computer Science, Information Management, etc.)
What would be a plus:
Familiarity with quote to cash and/or sales operations
Experience working and configuring off the shelf applications, including SaaS
Experience working with CPQ and Big Machines Language (BML)
Experience working with Agile development methodology, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
As part of a software project implementation team assists in implementing software projects by mapping business processes, producing documentation, establishing acceptance testing criteria.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel as necessary. Prefer 2 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.
