Connectivity Device System engineer supports production builds(trial produce) and performance validation at various (New Project Introduction)NPI stages. The candidate is responsible to qualify RF production test, improve production yields, and validate RF performance during the builds. The candidate works closely with cross-functional teams and contract manufacturer to identify and resolve RF issues from both PCBA and device levels of the product via techniques including Design of Manufacturability (DFM), Failure Analysis (FA) and Design of Experiments (DOE). The candidate also streamline the production and mitigate the design risk before entering ramp.
The role:
1. Anticipates potential manufactuing issues from RF perspectives, identifies root cause through logical failure analysis, and improves RF performance of products with cross function team from NPI to (Mass Production)MP stage
2. Develop process to early detect potential issues and improve design of new products, specifications, components, materials and application.
3. Work closely with Contract Manufactures, RF design team, validation team, operation team, to facilitate successful production for wireless devices. Report the white paper as final accomplishment output.
4. Travel domestically and internationally to factoy sites as projects requirement.
5. Assist in the organization of technical data documentation throughout the development cycle i
including FAI, CPK, GR&R, DFM, RF data analysis and FA report.
6. Can work 5 days per week during summer holiday for at least 3 months duration
7. Is willing to work in Shenzhen, Shanghai
