YOUR FUTURE ROLE – IBERIA TECH CONSULTING DIRECTOR
- The Iberia Tech Consulting Director is responsible for managing Technology Consulting business and resources in Iberia region (Spain and Portugal).
- Is responsible for managing the three main pillars of our organization: our people, our business, our impact.
- Is responsible for maintaining a strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability. Accountable for managing and growing a significant revenue stream and customer base.
- Has profit and loss responsibility. Accountable for financial metrics and overall business results.
- Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve business objectives.
- Typically manages multiple first line managers and/or senior level individual contributors.
- Develops and embeds the culture of continuous personal development in the team to make Iberia team an outstandingly motivated one.
- May serve as advisor or executive project sponsor role for complex engagements.
- Must be an active part in the sales process and key executive of the most strategic deals.
- Plans, leads and executes all of the above and is an active part and contributor to Tech Consulting South.

Key Skills/Qualifications
- Master degree or equivalent.
- 12+ years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience in leading (multi-disciplinary) teams.
- Successful track record as Leader. Direct line Management experience including project, people, customer, financial management preferred.
- Personality and ability to establish a trustful relationship with executive level stakeholders within the organisation and outside of it.
- Ability to work effectively with and through a matrix organisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong focus on customer success
- Able to develop strong internal relationships. Able to network and develop strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs.
- Ability to develop the culture of focus on “Customer Success “rather than “manage to contract” whilst still managing commercial success.
- Flexibility to work from home or travel across the region if required.
Desired Skills/Qualifications
- Sales attitude and experience in sales and negotiation.
- Project management leadership experience.
- Knowledge in Oracle technology and Cloud Services.
- Sophisicated executive communication skills, bringing multiple internal and customer stakeholders to common understanding and agreement.

Serves in a senior practice management role, managing a large Service Line staff. Plans, organizes, directs and controls the work activities and staff of a Service Line consulting practice. Normally manages and leads through management team consisting of Practice and Technical Managers and Directors. Responsible for operational results of Service Line group, quality of consulting delivery and assuring reference ability for that group.
Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or Business or equivalent preferred. Balance of advanced technical skills, functional knowledge, client consultative skills and operational management experience. Has 4+ years of consulting services senior management experience with P & L responsibility and 10-15 years consulting or industry experience. Willing to travel regionally with some national/international travel.
