The senior Consultant is an intermediate consulting position which operates independently to provide quality work products to internal project teams and customers. They are a key member of the Services team managing project deliverables, HSGBU engagement work products and solutions for Cloud-based and on premise projects.

Main responsibilities\:

• Create and manage an overall project plan (including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing needs) for one or more Oracle engagements. Monitor and report progress/changes against the plan. Drive implementation by providing motivation and direction.
• Leader and subject matter expert for User Management Tool, training tool (HS Learn), support tool (Support Cloud); working closely with Product Management and/or Support organization to understand new release dates and functionality
• Ownership of assigned project work including progress updates and communication to internal teams and customers 
• Ensure project deliverables and documentation is in accordance to Oracle quality standards
• Assist project leads to manage delivery of HSGBU clinical trial processes within a customer consultative relationship
• Assist project leads in ensuring up to date SD Repository content
• Provide updates to customers on the status of Oracle Cloud Support related incidents where needed
• Assist in the creation of customer specific Support metric reports; lead customer calls for the delivery of Support metric reporting
• Building and testing of applications and application interfaces
• Development and delivery of Training on Oracle products and related processes.
• Releasing and handing over the projects from Development or QA to LIVE
• Identify and execute on opportunities for process improvement
• Create internal knowledge material proactively makes it available for the team
• Effectively apply Oracle’s methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual obligations, minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure.
• Coordinate and work on other tasks and activities assigned by line manager

Qualifications\:

• 3 - 6 years’ experience working within a customer engagement role, preferably within technology, health science or consulting organizations
• Bachelors Degree in CS/IT/EE or a degree in biotechnology/clinical studies or life sciences background related equivalent professional qualification
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, presentation and influencing skills to all stakeholders
• Good experience with Edit check programming / designing application interfaces, database testing (Oracle, SQL*Server), Multiple Programming Languages (ASP.net, VB.net, XML, PL/SQL). .Net Framework knowledge will be an advantage
• Experience and demonstrated understanding of computer systems and applications
• Ability to work cross functionally to deliver work to agreed targets
• Proven track record of building strong customer relationships
• Ability to organize work according to customer demand; managing own workload
• Show quality-oriented approach in regard to addressing escalations 
• Collaborative and working with several internal stakeholder and customers
• Tenacity, drive and energy to see things through to conclusion
• Willing to travel regionally with some national travel.
