There is a new opportunity to join the Oracle Consulting team in Australia, as a Consulting Sales Manager, selling services to enable customers to get up and running on our Utilities Global Business Unit portfolio.

Responsibilities
You’ll assume responsibility for selling consulting services with a specific focus on Oracle Utilities solutions.
Scope
· Reporting to the Consulting Sales Director for JAPAC.
· Works collaboratively with Oracle’s direct or channel sales teams, industries, support & business support functions to achieve professional services bookings.
· Engages in external relations with customers and partners.
Jobs tasks and responsibilities
· Lead & manage consulting sales activities for Oracle Utilities professional service opportunities
· Drive the bookings for both mainstream and new business
· Perform overall pipeline management for your territory including accurately forecasting against plans and targets
· Fulfill bookings quota allocated to your territory
· Manage the execution of sales activities including demos, presentations and the bid process for generating a consulting sales proposal
· Ensure success of each engagement both financially and from a customer satisfaction viewpoint
· Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers in the designated accounts
· Working closely with Consulting Sales Director contributing to the “go to market” strategy and the development of Oracle Value Propositions for the implementation of our solutions
It will be important for the individual to be a team player who can work closely, and at times demonstrate leadership of a multi-functional team across Licence Sales, Consulting Delivery, Pre-sales and selected Partners, and set up successful virtual teams for territories or accounts.

Education and Experience Required\:
· Big 5, SI, Vendor or Business Partner services sales experience, ideally utilities or local council related
· Proven ability to sell services to customers at CxO level
· Experience of thriving in an environment where your next engagement and challenge is not prescribed to you
· Willingness to travel as this is a key requirement of the role
· Degree in Business or IT related disciplines
· Knowledge of Oracle Utilities products (preferable)
· IT delivery experience (preferable)

8-12 years of relevant field sales experience. Able to develop strong internal relationships. Able to network and develop strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs. Able to generate leads and submit proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings. Able to generate consulting services and nurture and close the transaction. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.!|!
