The Consulting Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and finalizing solutions related to new and existing products, modules and services. The Consulting Project Manager sets milestones for each project, coordinates efforts between operations and technology teams, in order to effectively and efficiently deliver projects according to plan. This position works with internal and external stakeholders to bring structure while implementing complex, project-based processes to bring increased efficiency in the delivery of all projects and services and in turn, enhanced client satisfaction.

 

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in Oracle Cloud Applications. You should have deep domain knowledge in Oracle ERP, HCM, or CX applications, implementation methodologies, project estimation, project team management, client management and communications, and project and proposal leadership. 

 

The Project Manager must have a proven track record in project management including but not limited to:

·                 Bid and proposal management including estimation

·                 Managing multiple projects concurrently ; program management

·                 Strong track record of on-time on-budget project delivery of complex multiple track system integration projects (e.g., combination of ERP and HCM) – at least 2 complex end-to-end project lifecycles above 3,000 man-days in ASEAN country.

·                 Resource and cost management

·                 Scope management including change control management and executing change requests

·                 Verbal and written communication

·                 Project planning and monitoring

·                 Resource management (including experience managing off-shore work)

·                 Risk management

·                 Strong track record in managing complex projects on-time, on budget

·                 Team management

·                 Client and stakeholder management and relationship

·                 Strong influencing and negotiation skills.  

·                 Strong resource management skills especially offshore/remote resources

•                 Successfully lead complex projects while working effectively with client management, client business users, and IT organizations.

Minimum 15 year experience in ERP/HCM/CX implementation/upgrade projects of which you should have at least 10 years consulting project management experience of ERP/HCM/CX projects. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.

Responsible for guiding the successful implementation of non-routine and complex business solutions ensuring high quality and timely delivery within budget to the customer’s satisfaction.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle’s solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge. Effectively applies Oracle’s methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual obligations, thereby minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques for effective project delivery on small to medium engagements. Provides direction and mentoring to project team. Effectively influences decisions at the management level of customer organizations. Ensures deliverables are acceptable and works closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations. Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain credibility. Manages the scope of medium sized projects including the recovery of remedial projects.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position. Prior project team leadership or management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.
