Job Description

Consulting Solution Manager

 

Responsibilities include\:

  • Business Analysis for the Bank’s requirement
  • Requirements Elucidation, Discussion with Customer, Oracle teams
  • Working with different internal stake holders in Oracle to design the solution for bank’s requirement
  • Preparation of Functional Specifications for Corporate and Retail Banking, Risk and compliance requirements
  • Preparation of Functional/Business Test plans for Customization
  • Functional Testing of the Customizations developed.
  • Working with bank and partners for delivery of Oracle Deliverables
  • Adherence to Oracle internal processes
  • Support Business Development activities by working closing with regional sales team and delivery managers.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect to deliver solution, through out-of-box Productions / Solutions, for banking customer needs.
  • Project Management experience in handling core banking transformation programs would be an added advantage

Experience\: 

  • Strong Banking, AML, KYC and business knowledge in Transaction Banking, Financial Crime and Compliance, Treasury Operations

 

  • Experience in Core-banking/Banking platforms -  Flexcube, Finacle, Bancs, Kapiti, Bank Master, Wall street, SunGard, Murex etc.

 

  • Certifications if any in Financial Space - ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, CFA etc.,

 

  • Excellent documentation skills with experience in writing Business Requirement Document and developing Functional Specifications.

 

  • Usage of tools for story boarding, screen mock-up, work-flow depiction.

 

  • Knowledge and exposure to any of the following BA tools to support (requirements management, proto-typing, work-flow, documentation, collaboration)
    • Rational Requisite Pro
    • Visio
    • Balsamiq
    • Pencil
    • Trello
    • SmartDraw
    • MS Office suite
    • Draw.io

 

  • Require understanding of industry trends and current offerings and needs of the markets in Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Risk and compliance.

Others\:

  • Willingness to travel Onsite to Customer location, mostly within Greater China region.

 
!|!As a recognized authority and leading contributor within the practice, this senior-level consulting professional has broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs across multiple product/technology families. Works directly with Consulting sales to analyze customer business needs.

Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to design non-routine and complex business solutions utilizing Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Influences customer leadership in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services to facilitate the closing of consulting deals. Contributes to statements of work, work breakdown structures and/or level of effort and staff plans. Presents and demonstrates solutions to customers. Builds and maintains a network and up-to-date specific industry or product knowledge. Responsible for transitioning deal knowledge to implementation team. Leads the domain specific solution design aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and integrated business solutions. Anticipates project risks and suggest risk mitigation to project manager. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products.

8-10 years of relevant experience including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team lead or manager experience. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Broad product, technology or industry expertise. Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions. In-depth knowledge of implementation methodologies and best practices. Knowledge of competitive & partner products, technology and solutions. Ability to travel as needed.!|!
