Consulting business operations analyst
As consulting business operations analyst you provide programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's financial and tactical business objectives. You develop, communicate, and train the organization on business practices and processes.
The job of a consulting buss ops analyst has a high level of variation. The job might be complex and requires your independent judgement. Your primary and most important task is to be a side kick / trusted advisor to the business leader(s). To be succesfull it’s key to interact and build relationships with a wide group of people and other teams.
On a daily basis you need to collaborate with the business (sales & delivery), operations and other supporting departments like e.g. sales support, Operations Services, Finance, HR, Legal, RevRec, collections etc.
You will be supporting the business leader(s) with P&L management. Including : forecasting, risk assessments, variance analysis, etc.
You should be able to work independent, have good time mgmt. skills and be very proactive. (Another big part of the job is collecting, organizing, analyzing and displaying data ; so ideally you have good Excel skills)
Communication is key, you are not afraid to speak up, share your opinion and bring your own ideas. (you will be preparing, hosting and leading meetings in to support your business leader(s))
Ideally you are familiar with the consulting business
Other responsabilities:
- Developing and implementing process standardizations and simplifications.
Identifying and implementing best practices. - Providing operational background information and outlining possible consequences to the Consulting organization.
- Driving actions to support Business in achieving objectives, supporting operational excellence in all processes and services of Consulting Sales and Delivery
- Supporting Business transformation, as well as change management
- Providing operational management information to the Consulting management team, participate in management team meetings, being trusted advisor to the management team.
- Working closely with EMEA Consulting Business Operations and Business Systems to align and standardize services

- At least 3-5 years of professional experience
Provide engagement delivery services both as an individual and as a team member. Services include identifying needs, developing, influencing and implementing proposals. Able to lead, support and participate on project teams.
Job duties are varied and complex that need independent judgment. May have project lead role. A BS or BA in related fields. 7-9 years overall experience in functional or technical role. Two years experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Willing to travel regionally with some national travel.
