Responsibilities

Translate content (mostly Chinese to English, but also English to Chinese) for the company’s website and apps. This also includes managing external and internal translators and copywriters for large projects.

Create English/Chinese copy for ads. Supervise the translation of ad copy from Chinese to English.

Help drafting of various communications materials, including writing press releases, research reports, and social media posts.

Assist with managing media relations, including developing relationships with journalists, distributing press releases and providing support for press interviews.

Conduct background research on companies and a variety of key topics.

Assist with maintaining event calendars.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree or above.

Excellent Chinese and English, at native or near-native reading and writing ability is a plus.

At least two years of copywriting or copyediting experience. Subediting/journalism experience is a plus. Candidates with experience working in finance or IT are preferred.

A meticulous approach to writing and an eye for detail.

The ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines.

A love of and feel for language.
