As a member of Engineering Team for OFSAA-Platform, you will join the Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) team and take ownership and accountability for Design and Development of high quality installers & patching toolsets for the OFSAA suite that complies to Oracle On-Premise and Cloud standards.

The Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit, and specifically the Analytics (OFSAA) line of business, is responsible for the development and marketing of industry specific profitability, risk management, regulatory compliance and budgeting and planning, business intelligence and data foundation built on a common toolset / platform.  As a key member of this team, you will help design, build and deliver the product installer and it’s patching toolkit.

We have technical developer positions open for Designing and Developing foundation components for the OFSAA Platform & Cloud deployment of OFSAA-SaaS offerings. These are crucial roles to ensure that the products / toolsets that we deliver are high quality products to banks across the globe. We are looking for someone who will plan, coordinate, design, develop and deliver high quality products . You will be responsible for development and delivery of high quality code that are part of the OFSAA suite of applications in an agile development environment. You will work with other Engineering, Quality Assurance and Product management teams to ensure solutions are thoroughly designed, developed and unit tested, ensure integrated with other components, within the OFSAA suite of products.

RESPONSIBILITIES\:
As part of the senior member of the FSGBU's flagship Analytics Platform, the candidate will be responsible for building out newer capabilities and be part of the Cloud journey that the product suite is embarking on and have a flair to explore and practice continuous integration, continuous delivery and agile methodologies. Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

REQUIREMENTS
5 to 8 years of experience in a software engineering environment
Experience in an Agile environment with a high level of automation
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
Comfortable with a good subset of technologies from the below list -  Core-Java,  Oracle-DB, SQL, Linux shell scripting,  frameworks like Maven/Jenkins, Web based technologies including HTML, JavaScript, Popular web servers like Weblogic, Websphere 
Ability to lead by example as a strong, hands-on technical contributor is essential
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Ability to work in a geographically distributed organization
 

!|!Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.!|!
