Job Description

Senior Program Associate, Oracle Corporate Citizenship, Chile

 

Oracle Corporate Citizenship team seeks a Senior Program Associate to help develop, manage, and drive corporate citizenship and education activities in Chile.

Position location: Santiago, Chile.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Understand and implement the Oracle Corporate Citizenship vision to advance education, protect the environment, and strengthen communities
  • Ensure the appropriateness and relevance of Oracle Corporate Citizenship activities through local knowledge, innovation, and adaptation to changing conditions
  • Support the local success of the Oracle Volunteering program, which engages employees in volunteerism in the areas of Education, Environment and Community
  • Help to shape Oracle Giving grants and Oracle Volunteering projects that give particular attention to computer science education as a part of job skills development for underserved populations
  • Mobilize Oracle Volunteers and Oracle Women’s Leadership (OWL) communities to support projects that advance computer science and STEAM education for girls
  • Manage multiple long- and short-term projects as necessary
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with Oracle Chile executive leadership and other Oracle leaders to gain support for Corporate Citizenship activities
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and Compliance & Ethics teams to ensure Citizenship activities comply with local law, as well as internal policies and practices
  • Support and enhance cultural transformation activities in Oracle Chile office
  • Produce high quality content for internal and external communications; represent Oracle Corporate Citizenship in internal and external settings.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum in a related field (e.g., Business, Corporate Citizenship/ Corporate Social Responsibility, Computer Science, English, Marketing, Education)
  • Degree or certification in Corporate Citizenship or a related discipline preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience in corporate citizenship, nonprofit practice, education, or a combination
  • Previous technology industry experience a plus
  • Fluency in English and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated outstanding presentation skills
  • Exceptional critical thinking, research, and assessment skills
  • Demonstrated success in developing, maintaining, and deepening strategic partnerships
  • Proven ability to inspire and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Superb detail orientation, as well as vision
  • Ability to represent Oracle Corporate Citizenship with passion and professionalism
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 8 plus years relevant work experience.
