Customer Success (CS) Enablement is looking for an experienced manager to lead the CS Enablement Curriculum Development (CD) team. NetSuite is searching for an experienced Manager to lead our Curriculum Development (CD) team in the design, development, and maintenance of courses and curriculum for all NetSuite Customer Success training courses as well as enabling key initiatives throughout NetSuite and Enablement. The CD team supports instructor-led classroom training, instructor-led virtual training, and self-paced e-learning for NetSuite employees and Partners.

Ability to work closely with team members in a collaborative and supportive environment is a “must” for this role. On this small but nimble team, your efforts will be critical to meeting larger strategic goals while supporting your team members in meeting their goals as well. The Manager will also lead the development and refinement of the CD team’s instructional design processes, tools, templates, and standards.

The Manager is an instructional design professional and passionate about creating effective training online learning solutions. The Manager manages and mentors curriculum developers responsible for the development of new content, and completing updates to existing content. The Manager may also be responsible for his/her own content development projects, acting as a project manager and instructional designer.

• Supervise the day-to-day activities of Curriculum Developers.
• Share ideas, collaborate, coach, and mentor Curriculum Developers on best practices for designing and developing curricula.
• Partner with the Senior Manager and Global Program Managers to scope project requirements, including suggested milestones, timelines, resources, goals, and constraints.
• Ensure timely, high-quality course development and updates to defined Curriculum Development standards.
• Provide regular project/milestone status updates of the team’s progress to Customer Success Enablement leadership.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with other Managers, business owners, SMEs, and other stakeholders.
• Enable and empower team members to work successfully, ensuring that Curriculum Developers have the right resources and training to succeed.
• Set individual and team performance and development goals and handle team management and personnel responsibilities (hiring, goal setting, performance reviews, HR issues, etc.).
• Set realistic short and long-term project goals and manage effectively to accomplish them.
• Design and develop interactive training that combines multiple components for positive user experience\: presentations, demonstrations, simulations, activities, quizzes, job aids, and other materials as needed.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks.

Qualifications\: 
Candidates for the Manager, Curriculum Development role should have many of the following qualifications\:

• Comfortable to work on a permanent night shift
• 7 years’ experience in instructional design, development, and managing a team.
• Bachelor’s Degree in fine arts with a major in advertising arts, visual communication, multimedia arts, education, instructional design, technology, or equivalent is preferred.
• Outstanding verbal and written English-language communication skills.
• Experience using an online learning tool, e.g. Captivate is a plus
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage shifting priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
• Ability to analyze complex training requirements and present effective educational solutions.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others to produce quality content and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to present solutions, negotiate project specifics, and control scope of projects.
• Experience in creating online solutions for software/applications/enterprise systems is a plus. 

!|!Develops courseware to support new and existing products, often though not exclusively in conjunction with Product Division.

Develop policies and guidelines for the creation and delivery of classes by working with the curriculum development, instructional, and internal/external audience communities. Identify and implement instructional methods and technologies that add value to classes. Coordinate virtual classroom strategy and operations with global counterparts. Train instructors and curriculum developers to use virtual classroom and conferencing applications.

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Solid project management skills. Background in distance learning methods and technology. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. BA/BS.!|!
