Job Description

ORACLE UNIVERSITY CLOUD\:

Oracle University Cloud is dedicated to drive Cloud adoption of Oracle Cloud technologies in all of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS with a broad portfolio of services and products. Oracle Guided Learning offers end users online guidance directly accessible from the Oracle Cloud application. Specific to their roles and responsibilities, Guided Learning offers users step-by-step guidance to help them complete their tasks.  Subscriptions allow access to SaaS, PaaS and IaaS cloud offerings. These offerings feature over 4000 hours of Cloud related content built on a platform that offers knowledge checks, skill paths, gamification and live analytics on learner progress. We also offer Live Events face to face or over the internet to build skills.

 

  

KEY OBJECTIVE\: 

Your objective is to drive Cloud adoption for Oracle technologies in Switzerland particularly around SaaS by creating high value solutions to our customers. This includes Guided Learning solutions, Cloud Learning subscriptions, Live Virtual Classroom events and Face to Face sessions.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven sales track record in the IT sector in Consulting and Solution sales around Cloud. They have to give examples of communicating at a high level with customers both internally and externally.  A focus will be on the existing Oracle major accounts and developing Cloud accounts. Successful candidates will make an immediate impact through initiating key relationships with sales forces in other lines of business, with clients and partners, which have a high probability of driving adoption and generating revenue. Previous consultative selling experience is a plus as would be an understanding of the IT education business particularly in the context of Cloud.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

·        Education & Experience - Preferably degree level and proven Sales Experience of 8 years

        Sales Process Management - Proven sales experience and ability to manage pipeline, forecast and achievement of sales targets, ability to accelerate the sales process and a proven deal closure record

        High Level Relationship Building  - Ability to initiate and sustain long term, high level relationships with key  government departments, but also clients in the private sector

        Internal relationships  - Experience in building internal relationship across lines of business to ensure the relevant Oracle University Cloud portfolio is attached to all major Cloud deals in the territory

        Consultative Selling - Prior successful consultative selling experience

        Negotiating and Closing - Proven skills in negotiating and closing complex solutions directly or with partners

        Communication - Flawless English and German combined with the experience and confidence of communicating internationally and at a high level with executives

        Self-Driven - Stamina and self-drive to work with high level relationships, third parties and complex solution

        Customer and Market Knowledge - Able to demonstrate insight to Oracle’s customers in Switzerland

        Pricing and Funding Models - Ability to develop accurate quotes and proposals in complex software and training opportunities

        Contracting - Ability to work with legal to draft unique or non standard terms, applying the contractual requirements for doing business in Switzerland

        Presentation Skills - Ability to present the value of Oracle Cloud and Oracle Cloud University and present complex solutions with confidence at an executive level

 

 

MINIMUM ENTRY-LEVEL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Preferably degree level.

!|!Sells Oracle*s training services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory. Deals are not usually complex.

Sell Oracle education and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the Education sales offering. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of an Education value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key sales influencers.

Job duties are varied and need independent judgment. At least 5 years field sales experience with focus on larger accounts including Education or related sales experience. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Preferred Qualifications\: Bachelor degree or equivalent.
