Your responsibilities will include as well:

• DB2 database installation and administration
• 2nd/3rd line of support
• DB2 upgrades, migrations and maintaining
• Very large system troubleshooting , performance tuning  and problem solving in DB2
• Backup/Restore,
• User and Rights administration
• Advanced HADR/TSA configuration and maintaining
• Batch management and disk space administration
• Database and Index reorganization
• Working on system automation, technical documentation and security compliance
• On-call support (24/7)"

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

 

• 4+ years of experience in DB2 software installation of databases and clients
• 4+ years of experience in creating and configuring instances and databases
• 4+ years of experience of database backups and restore
• 4+ years of experience of configuring disaster recovery strategies (TSA/HADR)
• 6+ years of overall experience in IT and customer facing support
• Knowledge/Experience of new release upgrades- Knowledge/Experience  of storage structures
• Knowledge/Experience  of users and security management and of scheme objects management
• Knowledge/Experience  of SQL or PL/SQL
• Knowledge/Experience about OS (Linux, AIX, Windows) and Network
• Experience in bash/perl scripting or other programming languages
• Experience in automation and implementation of service in complex environments
• Readiness to work in 24x7 multi cultural environment
• English skills (B2)"        

       

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Knowledge about Tivoli TSM installation and upgrade  and TWS
• Knowledge about UC4 and RES
• Knowledge of cluster management (HACMP)- Knowledge about MS SQL/Oracle or other RDBMS
