Job summary
As a Design for Assembly Engineer (DFA) you will be a key member of the HW Product Ops team and will be the main interface between the Hardware and Product Design Engineering teams with local and Offshore Operations teams within Physical Store. We are looking for candidates who are passionate and thrive in a fast-paced start-up like environment.
End-to-end engagement for hardware manufacturing and launching new products for Amazon Physical Store team. You will solve complex system level problems, define and implement design for assembly guidelines, influence cross-functional teams and implement best practices across multiple products. You will set strategy for engaging with CM, Suppliers, and cross-functional partners. To be successful you need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while showing highest standards of responsibilities.
Responsible for conducting ME design DFX, DFM, DFA and DFT reviews on new JWO technology HW designs including but not limited to fixture and system designs to ensure sustainable manufacturing.
