SUMMARY

We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.
The Data Analyst will work in a team together with other Data Analysts with the main objective to support a team of Marketing Directors Insight and Optimization. The person will perform the following tasks\: importing, cleaning, transforming, validating or modeling data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making purposes. He/she will be also responsible for improving data quality and for designing or presenting conclusions gained from analyzing data using statistical tools.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITITES

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques working and ongoing supporting the Marketing Director Insight and Optimization
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets\: internal and external 
Combine data sets in innovative ways to create valuable insights
Acquire data from several data sources or systems to create a consistent, certified and high quality of information  as baseline for analysis and reporting systems
Filter and “clean” data, review reports, performance indicators to locate and identify possible improvements in analysis and reporting systems 
Work closely with Marketing Director Insight and Optimization to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Use modern, cloud based data management tools to deliver knowledge to the business
Select effective tools, mediums, and technologies for data and insight delivery
Work and collaborate with other Corporate BI teams and counterparties to be updated on the latest availabilities and functionalities of internal and external data sources and internal reporting systems.

Requirements\:

Proven working experience as a data analyst for at least 3 years
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (Oracle, MS Access, etc), programming (SQL, XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
Enterprise software and technology experience highly preferred
Understanding of a matrix organisation including xLOB activities and stakeholders


Skills\:
Deep knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, Oracle DB
Deep data analysis and insight generation skills
Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills
Tools including cloud analytics (Oracle Data Visualization, Tableau)
Discretion when managing sensitive information
Collaboration and best practice sharing
Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically & execute tactically as required
Resilience, flexibility & adaptability
