Job Description

About the Role

The aim of the Analytics Team is to support the Digital Paid Media Department composed of more than 100 channel specialists and strategies across multiple media channels such as Search, Content Syndication, Social and Digital. The Department is expected to continue to grow significantly in the short term.

We are looking for an innovative and analytical thinker to develop valuable insights to help and improve decisions. As Data Scientist of the Measurement Science team, you will drive measurement, analytics and machine learning modeling initiatives supporting global marketing programs. This is a key position needed to connect the dots across channels and support an effective global B2B marketing strategy.

In addition to be joining a team of Data Scientists, as part of a talented larger data science community with a lot of learning opportunities.

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are key for the position. Not only you will be required to successfully lead or partner on cross-team projects with a wide range of audiences but you should also be able to formulate and explain clearly ideas and insights to inform and drive decisions.

 

Responsibilities

· Work with Big Data technologies and design ETL processes.

· Carry out predictive analytics and machine learning to provide actionable insights, improve audience targeting and performance across lead funnel, campaigns, tactics, channels and messages.

· Perform marketing mix modeling and digital attribution analysis to recommend budget optimization across channels.

· Systematically apply A/B tests, multi-variate tests and incremental impact analysis to understand and drive paid media performance.

· Develop and implement paid media dashboards to provide insights.

· Lead periodic quality checks on data and dashboards provided to stakeholders. Continuously review processes to improve user experience and security, according to internal and external compliance policies.

· Own enhancements to Tech Stack and collaborate with Martech team for ongoing enhancements. Identify potential risks and issues, and partner with Martech team to proactively prevent them.

· Conduct bespoke analysis as needed to meet needs of stakeholders

 

Qualifications

· Master’s Degree in economics, marketing, STEM preferred.

· Proficiency with Python or R, Git and ETL processes.

· Solid knowledge in statistical, modelling techniques, and machine learning.

· 4+ years’ experience in a data analyst or data scientist role preferably in marketing (but not limited to).

· Expertise in at least 3 of the following subjects: cross channel optimization, lifetime value, multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modelling, predictive analytics, audience targeting, and experimentation.

· Strong ability to conceptualize marketing performance opportunities for improvement, identify key drivers, structure analysis, and conduct experimentations.

· Ability to translate model outputs into insights and communicate findings to stakeholders in paid media and broader business users.

· Channel API knowledge is a plus.

· Experience in B2B marketing is a plus.

Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities. Manage online advertising relationship and local social media agencies.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8+ years relevant work experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.
