Data and Applications Integration Cloud Solution Specialist

Oracle is seeking a Data Integration and Applications Integration Solutions Sales position reports to the Regional Solutions Sales Leader. This role provides specialist data and applications Integration domain Cloud Platform knowledge to take a customer through the sales lifecycle from creating a vision and blueprint for integration within their organization, through proofs and concept/value to sale and deal closing to go-live and consumption. Who facilitate closing of deals and the driving of cloud consumption within a broadly defined territory. Will also support prime sales teams and partners to qualify and close new business and will play a key role leading the growth of Data and Applications integration portfolio. 

•   Works as a member of the Sales Team 
•   Provides Data Integration and Applications integration Sales Specialism and domain expertise
•   Accountable for a pre-defined set of Business oriented KPIs (common KPIs for all EMEA DIS Cloud Solution Specialists)
•   Highly Sales focused supporting Oracle’s prime sales teams. 
•   In addition to driving sales also drives usage and consumption of integration cloud services. 
•   Pivotal to driving the growth of the integration cloud revenue. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

•   Drive the sales and adoption of Oracle Integration Cloud products through prime Oracle channels to market.
•   Setting a vision and blueprint for integration within selected customer and driving that through the sales cycle from Proof of concept/Value, Deal closing, go-live an consumption.
•   Drive consumption of our integration cloud products. 
•   Provide opportunity support for Prime Technology, Application and Partner Sales teams within your territory.
•   Deliver and co-ordinate Data and Applications Integration customer presentations and demonstrations.
•   Work with aligned BDMs to create integration campaigns for BDMs to be executed. 
•   Incubate new products within the market place and drive opportunities from discovery to live. 
•   Supporting in-bound opportunities (SQL’s) by working with CSRs , ASRs, Partners and others in the eco-system.
•   Working with and influencing the activities of Oracle Partners.
•   Be a key change agent supporting the ‘Pivot to Cloud’ by championing Data & Applications integration cloud solutions.
•   Establish a referenceable customer base within your territory by leading incubation of new cloud services, including customer use and advocacy of strategic customers. 
•   Research and communicate Integration domain trends, drivers and potential. 
•   Be a champion for Oracle’s Cloud strategy and capable of articulating this to customers and partners 
•   Be a champion for Oracle’s current and future cloud products and services 
•   Build and maintain relationships with relevant Oracle LOBs to ensure resources are available when required.
•   Dedicated to Customer and Oracle success (win-win situations)
•   Contributes to a pool target across the EMEA region

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

•   5 to 1010 years experience in Enterprise sales
•   5 years selling Enterprise Integration solutions 
•   Successful track record selling relevant Data integration and Applications Integration solutions, preferably in a cloud environment in a Sales/
•   Highly technically competent in the domain. 
•   5 to 10 years’ experience in a pre-sales role within the Data and applications arena
•   Desiring a move from pre-sales into sales or Pre-sales role. 
•   Strong team player focused on the team’s success as well as personal success
•   Experienced negotiator and closing skills 
•   Proven successful and highly attuned influencing skills
•   Proficient in English and French

Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.
