Job summary
Global Production Service (GPS) is a global, internal creative agency. As a team sits globally, we support consumer marketing teams’ design and video production needs across 20 marketplaces, we focus on scalability through the creation of standard templates for new marketplaces and self-service-focused solutions for all our business partners. This GPS CN design lead role is expected to work with Art Directors / Creative Directors and marketing manager in JP/CN to ensure the team in China interprets the brand guide/ creative direction /design brief on the right direction and develop bar-raising creatives. The role is also expected to act as a brand consultant for emerging marketplaces (e.g. SG) that have yet to have a local branding/ design team and help connect them with the global brand tone as well as training/guiding junior designers on the team.

Key job responsibilities
• Art direct and execute the design of existing brands across multiple form factors
• To work with global brand team to develop, or consult on the development of brand guidelines and assets and play as a key role in brand oversight for APAC (Primary JP/CN)
• Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings; contributing to the strategy of future creative directions
• Leverage data to design the right analytical approach, uncover areas of business opportunity, deep dive into massive data sets to answer key business questions
• Collaborate with the Amazon design community at large to ensure consistent brand use across multiple marketing channels


A day in the life
A day in the life includes attending brief sessions, driving creative reviews and working back from customer needs to identify creative solutions, interacting with internal and external partners, and leading concept development or guiding junior designers. Cross-functioning and communicating with global stakeholders is a natural part of your day. You work on multiple projects with efficiency and prioritizes according to customer needs.
