As a DevOps Software Engineer you will work in the Interoperability team for our solution i.s.h.med.

The multi-national interoperability team works on a new solution addressing the challenges of interoperability to facilitate free flow of information in the continuum of care and reduce the burden of caregivers.

You will work with development team to setup, run and monitor our CI/CD pipelines. Ranging from development of code, ensuring quality by integrating test and security checks, packaging and deployment.

In your job you will work with both, on-premise as well as Oracle cloud deployments. Besides CI/CD pipeline you will also support operation of key infrastructure for our interoperability offerings.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
• 2 years of DevOps Engineering experience
• Experience in running, packaging and administrating Docker containers.
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure – certifications or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with running and administrating a Jenkins Build server
• Experience in managing assets in Artifactory
• Knowledge of using git
• Integration of security analysis (SonarQube,  Fortify) and deployment tools into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Log analysis experience
• Experience with a scripting language such as bash or Python
• Kubernetes - Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent professional experience

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
