Job Description

As the Digital Marketing & Operations Manager, you will responsible for marketing operations, performance management and digital demand generation programs for the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) marketplace. This position will be instrumental in driving growth across Oracle’s Cloud and SaaS solutions.

With a background in digital marketing and marketing operations, you will have a data-driven approach towards your digital marketing execution, and have the ability to translate data into actionable insights to concisely present information back to key stakeholders.

Primary responsibilities of this role:

Digital Marketing

  • Management of integrated digital awareness and demand generation programs for Oracle’s Cloud and SaaS solutions.
  • All initiatives planned in region will involve you to manage the digital marketing aspects of the campaign from planning to execution. This will require you to understand the product, formalise a brief for the digital media teams, source relevant material from other marketing stakeholders, adapt the content to fit the relevant medium, layout the media plans with the digital media team and align your activities with the relevant marketing/sales stakeholders.
  • Digital marketing plans are to be closely aligned and agreed with the marketing program leads. You will closely track the lead progression of the programs from start to finish. This will require coordination of the business development teams to determine the quality of the leads.
  • Strong understanding of modern marketing methods including marketing automation tools, demand generation, digital nurture, social media, programmatic display/video and media planning.

 

 

Marketing Business Planning

  • Collaboration with Field Marketing Directors and senior members of the team to develop and manage annual and quarterly marketing business plans in line with changing and evolving business priorities.
  • Champion insight driven and dynamic marketing planning that is aligned to market and competitive landscape in APAC, business priorities, demand management methodologies, corporate marketing priorities and historic benchmarks within JAPAC Marketing.
  • Optimise and simplify planning process for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage and improve planning tools & templates to drive clarity and simplicity in strategy and planning.
  • Lead input gathering and consolidation into planning templates/tools.
  • Budget Management in conjunction with Senior Marketing Director.

 

 

Marketing Performance Management

  • Collaborate with JAPAC team on campaign reporting and consolidation to gain insights into campaign performance and customer engagement.
  • Identify customer behavior patterns and analytical insights for marketing initiatives, planning and tracking.
  • Drive action plans to meet marketing business commitments and operational cadence to improve marketing performance.
  • Develop localised ANZ reporting, based on the JAPAC reporting that provides actionable insights for the ANZ Marketing Team and broader business.
  • Partner with subject matter experts in cross functional teams to identify business problems, model and frame strategic solutions that are critical to business success.
  • Develop strong business partnerships with senior management through regular meetings and workshop to improve their knowledge in metrics, processes and insights impacting their areas.
  • Be engaged as a consulting partner for all data driven projects, decision support, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the broader ANZ Operations Community to gain an understanding of local business imperatives that will have a bearing on marketing.
  • Drive regular marketing business reviews with key leaders in ANZ Field Marketing and APAC Marketing to ensure marketing performance is on track as per the committed plans and deliverables.

 

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing and marketing operations roles.
  • B2B marketing experience preferred.
  • Ability to design marketing programs to meet the business’ needs.
  • Strong interest and relevant experience in data analysis and visualisation.
  • Comfortable with web analytics tools.
  • Strong communication, relationship management, organisational and project management skills.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.

 

 

 

Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Responsible for digital marketing activities to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5+ years related experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.
