Job Description

As the Head of Localisation, Digital Programs & Events Marketing you will lead, manage and drive the integrated localisation, digital and events marketing strategy across all platforms using varied infrastructure and tools effectively across the multiple Oracle LOBs and product pillars targeted at our key accounts and installed base customers. You will play a pivotal role in liaison with the global HQ marketing teams, country marketing leads and their extended teams to create a cohesive integrated digital strategy & communication for various campaigns. Drive awareness, purchase consideration and demand for Oracle products across the enterprise segment through our digital and virtual tactics. Work with global, regional and country teams to prioritise the localisation of our marketing campaign assets.

 

All initiatives that will be run centrally will involve you to manage the digital and flagship events (both physical and virtual) marketing aspects on the campaign from planning to execution. This will require you to understand the product, brief the agencies, source the relevant material from the JAPAC LOB and divisional pillar leads, adapt the content to fit the relevant medium, layout the media plans with the agency and align with the country leads. Report the performance in conjunction with the business leaders and demand gen leadership teams.

 

Digital marketing and events plan and strategies are to be effectively communicated to all stakeholders.  Country/Field marketing leads, divisional program leads, the business development (BDG) teams & the PR/AR team (where applicable) should be briefed so that they understand the product messaging, target markets, value proposition and campaign schedule.

 

The strategies you propose will be aimed to drive brand adoption and inclination to purchase. Strategies should seek to maximise the return on Marketing Investment and support regional sales pipeline goals. You will own the regional digital and events marketing budget, strategy, creative development, and are responsible for ROI evaluation and reporting for all regionally driven campaigns.

 

You will also be responsible for managing a team who will be focused on delivering localised content, demand generation and account-based marketing programs. You will ensure the team is geared to deliver based on their KPI’s and are on track and are set up for success. Team enrichment and learning are integral for the team that you will be tasked to manage.

 

In summary, you are accountable for delivering an effective Tier 1 events and digital marketing strategy, demand gen programs, account-based marketing and compelling localised campaign content. You will also clearly communicate marketing plans, status and results across the JAPAC cross-pillar businesses.

Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Management of digital marketing specialists to collaborate with line of business/region in designing new data-driven models and campaign optimization techniques to create customer awareness, engagement and predictive purchase intent. Responsible for driving Inbound Marketing activities delivering results to sales pipeline and revenue generation. Assist in the development of regional inbound demand generation business plan, goals and execution model for paid, earned and owned marketing. Manages the team to ensure regional inbound demand generation strategies are achieved. Collaborate closely with sales, product and field marketing to align resources and budget to vertical/line of business/region growth opportunities, supporting sales growth regionally and globally. Manages relationships with internal partners and external agencies.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Practical internet knowledge. Software business management experience. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Successful track record in management.
