Job Description

Oracle is looking for a Digital Media Strategy Lead to own paid media strategy for the EMEA markets and partner with Channel activation teams for campaign execution and performance optimization.

 

The Digital Media Strategy Lead - EMEA must partner flawlessly with Product teams in reaching the desired business objectives and with Channel team to support cross-channel execution. Deep knowledge in B2B digital marketing, EMEA marketing, hands-on experience in media planning and buying are required.

 

  • Translate go-to-market plans into holistic, multi-channel paid media strategies and plans. Specific responsibilities include:
    • Scoping and challenging briefs.
    • Qualitative and quantitative audience research using a range of tools and data sets
    • Collaborate with Channel Media Teams on tactic development, publisher selection, campaign execution, and performance optimization.
    • Develop full-channel media plans
    • Communicate media strategies and plans verbally and visually to Pillar Marketing teams.
    • Interrogation of creative work
    • Evaluate and optimize campaign effectiveness
    • Develop campaign wrap-up deck 
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships across multiple teams to drive the strongest business outcomes both internally within Digital Advertising at Oracle and with the Pillar Marketing leads ensuring alignment of marketing and media objectives and outcomes
  • Partner with Analytics team in the development of appropriate KPI's and attribution methodologies.
  • Be an innovative and inspiring figure head
    • Understand the key trends that drive customer behaviour; always be ahead of the latest trends and provide thought leadership
    • Bring innovative ways and develop tests to drive performance improvement

 

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of paid media experience in EMEA market, including at least 4 years in B2B cloud-based Tech businesses.
  • Deep knowledge in digital media channels (programmatic, content syndication, paid social), and know how different channels working together.
  • Experience in using Account-Based Marketing for paid media activities
  • Experience in using audience research, advertising activation, and tracking tools such as Google Campaign Manager, Moat, Ipsos, etc.
  • Excellent communicator who can clearly convey complex ideas in written, presentation, and verbal formats to executives and team members.
  • Knowledge in how media agencies operate and activate media.
  • Strong project management skill

Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities. Manage online advertising relationship and local social media agencies.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8+ years relevant work experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.
