Job Description
Department Description\:
This position is responsible for controlling Oracle's PRCP (Product Release and Change) processes within GSL (Global Service Logistic).
Provide support to the Product Teams/SCM (Supply Chain Management) for Service requirements on change orders releases for both new products and sustaining parts.
Effectively works with multiple organizations both internally and externally to resolve PRCP related issues.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities\:
The role will ensure\:
• Review, Approve/Manage and Implement Change Orders and Change Requests
• Generate and release GSAP (Global Service Action Plan);
• Update summary sheets for every affected service item (physical spare);
• Manage MAL's (Minimum Acceptable Levels) for sustaining products;
• Update “Repair to”;
• Manage Substitutions, validate request, research escalations, post weekly report;
• Manage Firmware Master List document, post weekly report;
• Work with the FCO (Field Change Order) Team/SRM (Service Readiness Manager) to develop repair plan via SR (Service Request) GSAP as needed;
• Generate and submit PRT (Product Release Template) to PRG (Product release Group).
• Attend regularly scheduled meetings with Time Zones to address specific material issues.
• Attend Product Team/Ops Team/Materials Team meetings as required
• Responsible for PRCP process documentation and procedures.

• Technical competencies
• Ability to interpret technical data sheets and translate into action plans.
• MS Office
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Fluent English is essential

Job Requirements\: Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. Relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 1 year relevant work experience.
Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
