DESCRIPTION\:
Responsible for supporting the EMEA Cloud Systems Sales team with the supply related programs and acting as a business partner for the regional teams by supporting the overall sales strategy.
Drives programs by acting as a liaison with other departments and corporate functions like Sales, Business Development, Supply Chain Operations, Product Development and Global Finance and analysing current and historical data in order to ensure that demand for Oracle Hardware can be met by supply and customer satisfaction. Represents EMEA Cloud Systems team in discussions with Corp regarding current demand situation.
Gains knowledge on Oracle Processes and Products and provides regular communication to Sales regarding supply status, pipeline accuracy and Product Development updates.
Acts as a business partner for the EMEA CS regional business operations leaders, by assisting with the ongoing governance for the Sales teams\: Business Review preparation, ad hoc analysis, forecasting process and data quality for the regional sales team.
Runs projects for the Cloud Systems team regarding new tools and processes implementation, assist with tool adoption at regional or EMEA level.
This role requires a proactive attitude, being a self-starter, proactively identifying gaps and addressing them, good capacity to communicate, work across various teams, significant attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate and timely results.
RESPONSIBILITIES\:
- Carries out business analysis, measures trends and coordinates programs by working collaboratively with other stakeholders.
- Supports pipeline data quality both for supply related activities and forecasting purposes.
- Assess tools and processes continuously, raise any risks or issues and take necessary actions to inform the community;
- Work together with the business ops and Sales leader in the assigned region for understanding the business needs and how they can best be supported from a CBO perspective (analysis required, process gaps, knowledge gaps at sales teams level)
- Follow Oracle’s global policies and processes;
REQUIREMENTS\:
- Previous experience in a similar position is highly preferred;
- Project management skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Well-organised and structured, ability to prioritize and work on multiple arias;
- Good attention to detail and flexibility to operate in a matrix structure with a good level of business engagement experience;
- Very good computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel with good reporting skills and PowerPoint to prepare presentations);
- Fluent English is necessary.
DESIRABLE\:
- Experience in running other programs
- Experience in using Oracle Data Visualization or other Business Intelligence tools;
- Experience with data mining and statistical methods;
- Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX);
- Knowledge of the Oracle organization, products and services;
- Experience in an international organisation;
- Degree in Finance, Business or other relevant field.
Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 5 plus years relevant work experience.
