About you

You will be responsible for establishing strong, lasting and collaborative relationships with our license sales team, other lines of business who support you in the role and most importantly, with the customer.  Through those relationships you will help drive opportunities to the Consulting sales team and together, you will work to craft winning solutions for the client.  You will inspire the client to see the journey ahead of them and while they may only look to implement a part of the winning solution, you will help the team establish a pathway to expand on a client’s Oracle footprint.  From time to time you will also need to manage issues between Oracle and your customer to strive for a successful outcome.

 

You will bring high levels of energy and creativity to come up with the best solution for a client and communicate these ideas to the team.  You can present and inspire the client to see the vision you are putting forward. You have done this before in prior roles, particularly in Oracle Enterprise Performance management (Hyperion) space and have architected numerous solutions for clients which have seen a successful outcome. To bring value to the customer, you have experience across complete Hyperion suite of products focussing but not limited to Planning and Budgeting, Financial Consolidation and Reconciliation. Experience in architecting EPM Cloud applications in financial consolidation space is highly advantageous.

 

You are right blend of functional and technical expertise, with ability to:

• Understand and convert customer expectations into functional and system design for EPM solutions
• Architect EPM solution design and work with team to ensure delivery of solution is as per expectation of customers. Be a trusted partner between oracle team and customer across lifecycle of project Liaise with customer in adoption of EPM solutions, and help customer realize short and long term benefits from their investment in EPM solution
• Hands on experience in EPM solutions, to be able to articulate and prepare prototypes / PoC as part of solution familiarization to customer

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
