What You’ll Do

The EPM architect or specialist is responsible for designing, developing and supporting business solutions leveraging the latest versions of Oracle EPM Cloud. This covers all areas of the EPM portfolio including Financial Close and Planning and Forecasting.

  • You will be working on client-billable and pre-sales assignments to lead the solution development
  • You will be working with sales and delivery to ensure solutions are both sellable and deliverable to a profit

We are looking for architects and specialists capable of leading compelling solution development with clients on their EPM cloud strategies, architectures and roadmaps.

Be the vital piece of the puzzle that connects us to the millions of businesses that need our help to evolve. You will be at the forefront all all strategic EPM cloud and business modernisation discussions.

  • Share your extensive expertise in EPM processes and industry trends on decision maker-level
  • Lead our large customers through all phases of the implementation project lifecycle
  • Guide business stakeholders through workshops and help them defining solutions that meet their objectives – be the advocate for their business needs
  • Engage closely with our teams in sales, pre-sales and product development to develop a robust use case and architecture
  • Work on Bid management and presales activities

  • Extensive background (10 years and more) as Consultant, solution architect or subject matter expert in the EPM domain at a consultancy or customer
  • Holistic knowledge of (cloud) ERP/EPM solutions and respective use-cases
  • Ability to offer unique perspective by reframing and challenging the way customers view their business; know how to structure a use case to highlight customer benefits before supplier strengths
  • Ability to establish trustful relationships with senior stakeholders based on content (business process knowledge, Transformation approach, Adoption centricity, …)
  • Experience with interacting with third party resources incl. offshore teams
  • Fluency in French & English
  • Flexibility to work from home or to travel across France/Western Europe for project work if required and feasible

Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
