The Job – Functional EPM CONSULTANT

In order to continue our leading position in the market, an exciting, high-profile opportunity exists to join our growing EMEA Center of Excellence team as Enterprise Performance Management Functional Consultant.
Functional EPM consultant is expected to understand the client’s business and business processes, suggest the required improvements, and map the requirements into an EPM solution. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of EPM related processes such as Budgeting & Forecasting, Financial close and consolidation and Management Reporting. They will have strong presentation skills which will enable them to clearly present solutions to clients. They should be comfortable conducting research and analysis to establish a good understanding of the business process.
We are looking for consultants capable of leading functional delivery process:
- Analyse business requirements, define solution parameters and specifications
- Support workshops with the client to agree the solution design
- Manage the fact-finding, analysis and understanding of the business use case
- Identify gaps and propose best practice solutions to solve them
- Assess business impact of possible solutionn for client pain points/gaps
- Work with project team to agree on the best solution design
- Present to the client the proposed process and get client confirmation
- Support client with functional testing and user validations

- Education level/Qualifications: University degree in Finance, Economics, Information Management and Technology, Engineering or related field and equivalent experience
- 5 years of demonstrable experience with EPM or BI Financial solutions at a consultancy or customer including business process analysis, systems analysis and design, and technical/functional solutions delivery
- Familiarity with financial/multi-dimensional modeling, data analytics, or business intelligence concepts
- Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems independently
- Functional knowledge of major business processes and associated functionality in the EPM area
- Experience with interacting with customer stakeholders and internal teams (onsite & offshore)
- Self-motivated, well organized, demonstrates a commitment to project success, team player
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English

Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
