ERP Finance Cloud Application Architect

Oracle Consulting is looking for an experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of Oracle Financials Cloud suite of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes and technology designs.
Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment in order to design business solutions utilising Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Operates independently by applying Oracle methodology, leading practices, and creativity to develop business solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

The ask:
- An experienced consulting professional to lead Finance solution design aspects of engagement(s) in a Functional Lead role ensuring high quality and integrated business solutions.
- Influences customer leadership in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services. Presents and demonstrates solutions to customers.
- Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes within Finance product family; or architects and designs technology solutions that address cross stack issues.
- Provide subject matter expertise in the Oracle Finance Cloud applications
- Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of implementation methodologies and best practices.
- Able to configure the application to meet the client’s business process and requirements and develop workarounds as necessary
- Demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems and management of configuration/prototype workshops
- Develop and document testing scenarios, test scripts and leading teams in unit, integration and acceptance testing
- Facilitate train-the-trainer or end-user training
- Assist the integration consulting team in helping to build, configure and test integrations with other systems
- Assist in Post Production Hypercare

About you
You will be responsible for establishing strong, lasting and collaborative relationships with our customers, working with our global teams to implement the right solution for our customers enabling their successful adoption of our products and services. You will inspire the client to see the journey ahead of them and while they may only look to implement a part of the winning solution, you will help the team establish a pathway to expand on a client’s Oracle footprint. You will bring in strong knowledge of Fusion ERP Business Applications. A critical part of the role will also involve leading the solution delivery of the ERP implementations to ensure the customer’s business needs are addressed and benefits are realised.
You will bring high levels of energy and creativity to come up with the best solution for a client and communicate these ideas to the team. You can present and inspire the client to see the vision you are putting forward. You have done this before in prior roles, ideally with Oracle ERP Cloud.

Pre-Requisites
- More than 10 years of consulting experience in Oracle E-Business Suite and/or Oracle Cloud implementations in Finance Functional Consultant and Lead roles
- Experience in implementation of following:
- Oracle E-Business Suite Financials
- Oracle Financials Cloud
- Excellent communication skills in English (Written and Spoken)
- Tertiary Qualifications
- Financial/Accounting expertise and/or qualifications
- Ability to travel as needed
- Australian resident or citizen
Preferred Skills
- 5+ years in working on ERP cloud implementations with Oracle Fusion
As a recognized authority and leading contributor within the practice, this senior-level consulting professional has broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs across multiple product/technology families. Works directly with Consulting sales to analyze customer business needs.
Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to design non-routine and complex business solutions utilizing Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Influences customer leadership in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services to facilitate the closing of consulting deals. Contributes to statements of work, work breakdown structures and/or level of effort and staff plans. Presents and demonstrates solutions to customers. Builds and maintains a network and up-to-date specific industry or product knowledge. Responsible for transitioning deal knowledge to implementation team. Leads the domain specific solution design aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and integrated business solutions. Anticipates project risks and suggest risk mitigation to project manager. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products.
8-10 years of relevant experience including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team lead or manager experience. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Broad product, technology or industry expertise. Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions. In-depth knowledge of implementation methodologies and best practices. Knowledge of competitive & partner products, technology and solutions. Ability to travel as needed.
