Job Summary:
Oracle Application Labs (OAL) implements, maintains, upgrades and extends the applications that Oracle requires to meet its rapidly changing business requirements and provides a showcase for Oracle's products.

The Payroll HCM team within OAL is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of solutions for payroll and time entry modules and the core HR area. These applications and solutions are critical to Oracle as they are used to drive the people management, payroll business and reporting.

Essential Functions:
· Implement and support Oracle HCM, Education, payroll and time entry products
· Develop functions using PL/SQL, Java for Oracle ERP (HCM, Payroll, Time and Labor, Education modules)
· Implement complex cross functional solutions, integrations that are high performing and with excellent quality
· Work on other business or corporate driven priority solutions

Job Requirements:
· Overall experience of 1 to 2 years in software coding and development
· PL/SQL, Java, Oracle ERP (HCM) functional knowledge is preferred
· Strong problem solving and technical, business analytical skills
· Graduate degree or in progress in computer science or related field.

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
