Job Description

We want to strengthen our current market leadership position then we are searching for a Solution Engineer (Presales) specialized in ERP. If you want to participate in this goal, meet the challenge to become a Presales Consultant in our Solution Engineers Team in Chile. As a Solution Engineer, you will be responsible, as the expert, for formulating and leading presales technical/functional support activity around Oracle ERP Cloud sales processes.

Responsibilities

1. Partner with sales teams across all stages of the sales cycle to articulate the business value of our ERP portfolio

2. Leverage industry knowledge to recommend relevant and innovative solutions that support the customer’s desired outcomes

3. Ensure customer’s key business requirements and motivations are fully understood and addressed

4. Design, present, and articulate Oracle SaaS ERP to a variety of external and internal stakeholder audiences

5. Focus on overcoming obstacles to achieve the customer’s desired outcome

6. Stay up to date and increase your skills and knowledge in ERP and modern demonstration techniques

7. Address the competitive landscape and handle objections

8. Ensure a smooth handover for a successful customer implementation

9. Represent Oracle as a credible expert, providing current and new product information through workshops and at customer or industry events

10. Drive the strategic growth of LAD Applications through an active contribution to the SE community Requirements and technical skills: Required experience We embrace candidates with competitive vendor expertise, candidates should have:

11. Holistic knowledge of ERP business applications and use-cases (such as e.g. Oracle ERP Cloud, EBS, JD Edwards, SAP ERP, Netsuite or others)

12. Strong Communication skills and an innovative approach to present solutions are key for the role

13. Several years of experience as a pre-sales or implementation consultant in ERP projects and working with related business processes.

14. Understanding of key trends and latest thought leadership in Finance, Accounting, and Enterprise Performance Management

15. Ability to differentiate the proposed solutions by articulating and communicating the potential benefits case as it related to client situation and operating model

16. Experience in understand and cover complex business requirements

17. Understanding the modern Cloud offering and the SaaS marketplace

18. Sales methodology knowledge, including processes and disciplines is a plus

19. Ability to apply technology to drive innovation, experience in use design thinking, and customer journey mapping methodologies is a plus

20. Bachelors / Masters degree or equivalent desirable 21. Fluent level of English (other languages are a plus).

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
