About the Job

 

In this role you will partner with clients to re-imagine and re-invent their organisations to become world class digital enterprises using Oracle’s cloud solutions, advanced technologies, data and human insights.  We have our clients in the cloud -  Now let’s show them the art of the possible! Using your skills and experience in Consulting, Data Science and Managed Services you will work with clients to:

• action insights from trusted data to enable clients to consistently and quickly make the right decisions for their business
• build an adaptive organisation that can respond to change with speed and confidence and one team
• bring together best practice knowledge, technology and consulting skills, along with deep expertise across all industries.
• thrive as a cloud enterprise, aligning the front, middle and back office to consistently deliver on the digital promise.

Key Responsibilities

• Help define (How), build (Who) and lead (What) of our Evolve offering.
• Stand up and take the service offering to market
• Establish strong, lasting and collaborative relationships with the Oracle Sales Management and the larger X-LoB teams to ensure the success of Oracle ANZ Consulting
• Assist in the Evolve bid management process for clients/prospects
• Ensure success of each Evolve engagement both from a customer delight viewpoint and financially
• Manage issues between Oracle and customers to achieve positive outcome
• Support extensions/expansions through successful Delivery

Now Lets talk about you…

You are someone with….

• At least 10 years’ experience in data analytics/data science including senior leadership roles
• Managing and communicating with diverse stakeholders to drive organizational change
• Championed data science projects with demonstratable business impact from ideation to production
• Led and developed high performing virtual teams
• Experience identifying new opportunities in the market and designing creative solutions
• Experience providing advice on how data and technology can solve critical business problems
• Experience with cloud services.
• Delivery experience and knowledge on Oracle is preferred but not essential

As an acknowledged authority within Oracle, this senior-level project management position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership with industry-wide impact. Responsible for guiding the successful implementation of an integrated business solution ensuring high quality and timely delivery within budget to the customer’s satisfaction.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle’s solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge. Effectively applies Oracle’s methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual obligations, minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure. As a position of professional influence, this individual frequently operates at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies enhancements to Oracle products to meet very complex customer needs. Exercises creativity and independent judgment in identifying and resolving major issues and risks impacting project success. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams. As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences decisions at the leadership level of customer organizations. Ensures customer deliverables are acceptable, and works closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations. Enables business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise. Manages the scope of medium to large-scale projects, and accounts with varying levels of complexity.

10+ years of experience relevant to this position including 3 years of project management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. PMI certification preferred. Ability to travel as needed.
