Job Description

As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. 

We are looking for an experienced applications project manager, specializes in ERP & HR implementations.  

The candidate should be able to manage the customer and c-Level personnel and needs to be with drive and motivation.

  • Experience working for international companies and senior management.
  • Vast Knowledge in managing various applications platforms, software and technologies.
  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business.
  • Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Manage the customer - Identify and develop customer's trusted adviser relationship with project and program stakeholders, sponsors.
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously and meet project milestones on time and on budget.
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
  • Manage project scope and changes.
  • Assist in dispute, negotiation, arbitration or litigation, as needed.
  • Support formal/informal schedules to manage the engagement contract.

Work Based Competencies Essential:

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of project application implementation management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
  • 8+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal Understanding of the importance for detail and organization
  • Skill at managing stakeholder groups and balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness
  • Very good prioritization skills to balance key priorities.
  • A strong customer centric approach.

As a recognized authority and leading contributor, this project management professional, provides consistent innovative and high quality solution leadership. Responsible for guiding the successful implementation of non-routine and complex business solutions ensuring high quality and timely delivery within budget to the customer’s satisfaction.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle’s solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge. Effectively applies Oracle’s methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual obligations, thereby minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques for effective project delivery on small to medium engagements. Provides direction and mentoring to project team. Effectively influences decisions at the management level of customer organizations. Ensures deliverables are acceptable and works closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations. Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain credibility. Manages the scope of medium sized projects including the recovery of remedial projects.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position. Prior project team leadership or management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.
