Job Description

The Oracle Sales and Partner Academy delivers world class enablement to our sales teams across the globe.  We are looking for an experienced Facilitation Senior Manager to lead a team of sales trainers across APAC.  You will be passionate about the delivery of high business impact training and understand how to apply sales enablement to real life selling scenarios across both digital and in-person platforms.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment.  You will responsible for the development of the training faculty to deliver high quality training initiatives as well as lead training efforts yourself.  The role is highly collaborative, involving working with global and regional teams with the goal of improving sales productivity.  It is expected you have extensive knowledge of sales training best practices, sales methodologies and skills and processes and understand how this aligns to the customers’ buying journey.

 

Ideally you will have led a team of sales trainers and worked in the high tech industry. Outstanding facilitation, delegation, coaching and prioritisation skills are essential. Strong virtual delivery expertise is highly desired. Travel will be required in the role (as and when global markets adjust to the threat of COVID-19).

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Facilitators across APAC delivering world class training to the Oracle Sales workforce.
  • Identify, recruit and develop world class Facilitators to strength Oracle’s sales engine.
  • Manage the internal development plan and certification schedule.
  • Work with internal groups to plan and execute delivery of training plans.
  • Coaching and development of the Trainers/Facilitators
  • Continuous development of the sales techniques and skills within areas of responsibility
  • Foster strong team spirit and motivation within the team through display of role model qualities and attitudes
  • Promote x-Lob cooperation and synergies with sales enablement, sales, pre-sales, support, education sales on management and team level
  • Meet with employees, partners, and vendors, when necessary, to plan work and solicit feedback and requirements.
  • Deliver programs effectively, achieving high scoring evaluation ratings and feedback.
  • Work with the global tools and technology team to coordinate program delivery efforts.
  • Analyze and challenge current working methods to create improvements in processes and results.

 

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing, interacting and influencing senior level stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in sales enablement for a high tech company
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, classroom delivery and management skills.
  • 7 years management experience with a multicultural and remote locate team.
  • Consultative approach to identifying, assessing and prioritizing training requirements.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • High level of discipline in work practices and an eye for detail.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and implementation skills.
  • Flexibility and agility to operate in a dynamic environment.
  • Some travel will be required in the role (as and when global markets adjust to the threat of COVID-19).
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
!|!Manages the development, establishment and direction of regional, role based, or line of business sales training strategies and policies to enable optimal productivity of the sales organization. Responsible for managing the design, development and deployment of product, process and skills enablement programs that drive elite sales performance within Oracle's global sales organization.

Determines and evaluates sales training needs for the organization.  Develops and directs the build of sales training curriculum and programs.  Organizes and manages sales training sessions. Facilitates formal and informal presentations to senior management, sales organization, and other internal functions as appropriate.  May work with other Oracle team to incorporate corporate or regional strategy into training curriculum.  Provides guidance within the sales organization and shares best practices.  Analyzes performance of sales personnel to determine need for additional training. May oversee a staff of sales trainers and/or Sales Performance Designers and others. Keeps informed of new training methods and techniques.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate business needs.
