Field Marketing Manager, ANZ
As the Field Marketing Manager, you will support and drive the execution of integrated awareness and demand generation programs for the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) marketplace. You will have a data-driven approach towards your program execution to drive strong campaign outcomes.
All initiatives planned in region will involve you to support primarily the Events (Physical & Virtual) and Digital marketing aspects of the campaign from planning to execution. Align and partner with the local Field Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to understand the business priorities and build programs that will generate demand for the relevant product pillar. You will closely track the lead progression of the programs from start to finish. This will require coordination of the business development teams to determine the quality of the leads.
Orchestrate campaign operational tasks to drive speed into market and efficiency through program execution. These tasks could include, working with agencies for events, internal communications, lead reporting and program budget management.
The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker, problem solver and motivated individual. The role provides you with the opportunity to grow Oracle’s Cloud and Systems business through executing impactful and exciting marketing programs across the ANZ region.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer demand generation program through field and digital marketing to drive leads and pipeline to meet business requirements.
- Work closely with inside sales teams to ensure lead and opportunity targets are met through marketing programs executed.
- Create new or utilise existing marketing content to support marketing plans.
- Agency management for events in ANZ.
- Support campaigns operational tasks in alignment to Field Marketing programs.
- Look for innovations and improvements to increase efficiencies across the marketing ecosystem.
- Enable social sharing across ANZ employees to amplify campaign/event content on a regular cadence.
Management & Stakeholder Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Field and Digital Marketing teams to implement marketing campaigns.
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with marketing leads & business development teams.
- Reviews campaign performance, campaign schedule and programs related to ANZ.
Skills/Requirements:
- Minimum 3 to 5 year’s full-time experience in marketing (B2B marketing background preferred)
- Solid understanding of modern marketing methods including marketing automation tools, demand generation, nurture, media planning etc
- Ability to partner with field marketing to co-design marketing programs to meet the business needs
- Strong communication, relationship management, organisational and project management skills
- Ability to identify opportunities for growth
- Strong presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
Meets with Sales leaders to create strategic marketing plan in support of Sales pipeline and revenue objectives. Participant in regular pipeline and forecast review meetings. Develops and implements tactical marketing programs in conjunction with Sales, Channels, Product Marketing, Product Management, Oracle Direct (Telesales), and external influencers such as user groups and industry trade associations. Provides onsite execution support for marketing programs. Tracks lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner. Creates and manages program budget, measures ROI through metrics analysis and reporting.
Proven track record executing multi-faceted event programs. Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to engage customers in dialogue about their business needs and IT solutions. Excellent written and verbal skills, and ability to work on far-flung virtual teams. Understands principles of Sales business/revenue/pipeline management. Moderate technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed. Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes from event design to execution to lead flow.
