We are looking for a Field Service Engineer for Transformer Digital Services, Monitoring and Diagnostics (M&D) CoC

What are my responsibilities?

• Provide M&D technical support for end customers and internal partners to drive acceptance and specification influence.

• Responsible for installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of online monitoring systems.

• Drive growth in business volume through proposal activities for digital services and M&D portfolio in co-ordination with Siemens TR, external branding partners, and third-party sub-suppliers.

• Active participation in product development by providing feedback to HQ R&D of local/regional requirements and current market trends.

• Training of customers, distributor, Siemens sales, TR/CS BDMs on M&D Portfolio, digital services’ capabilities and value propositions.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Undergraduate degree in engineering preferably BSEE

• Understanding of IT and Industrial communication protocols

• Minimum five (5) years sales/engineering experience in transmission and distribution products

• Understanding and/or work experience with some or all of the following areas is preferred: (1) Transformer Monitoring and Diagnostics products, (2) Power Transformer Condition Assessment; (3) onsite installation of power transformer;

• Must have excellent interpersonal, negotiating, writing and presentation skills in order to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts

• Ability to travel up to 70% domestically (and internationally) require
