Brief Description\: The individual in this role will work
closely with Oracle Sales representatives and customers to expertly position
payment solutions for the acquisition of Oracle products and services. The role
requires an individual that has the ability to develop successful relationships
on multiple levels (internally and externally), manage complex transactions
from origination to structuring, pricing and booking. Leading contributor
individually and as a team member. Must be able to demonstrate an ability to
provide direction and mentoring of others. Job duties are varied and will
require the ability to make independent judgement. Excellent communication and
presentation skills are essential. Structured finance and experience in
working in a captive finance IT entity is required.
Detail
Description/ Qualifications\:
The individual will\:
o Integrate into Oracle sales teams, partnering
with sales representatives to create payment solutions that meet customer needs
and enable the acquisition of Oracle solutions.
o Train/mentor Oracle and Partner sales
representatives on the benefits of utilizing OFD and the best practice for
integrating OFD solutions into sales opportunities.
o Build relationships with existing OFD customer
base as well as the development of new customers.
o Assist Oracle sales in understanding customer
budgeting/accounting preferences/challenges and provide advice on structuring
deals accordingly.
o Participate with Oracle sales in forecasting,
account planning, deal reviews.
o Generate proposals/presentations to position
appropriate OFD solutions with customers.
o Provide financial and transactional analysis
on customers to assist OFD Funding & Risk Management to provide credit
approvals.
o Generate and negotiate OFD contracts (in line
with OFD business practice policies)
o Promote past successes/solutions/best
practices and collaborate with OFD marketing in the visualization, planning and
execution of marketing campaigns.
o Collaborate with OFD colleagues within EMEA
and globally to share best practice and participate in ad-hoc project work.
o Meet assigned sales volume targets and defined
business development objectives (BDO’s).

o Proven track record, 8-10 years work experience
in an IT captive (technology - Sw-Cloud-Systems-Services) finance environment, strong sales background
o BA/BS in Business, Finance, or Economics (MBA
a plus)
o High energy, enthusiastic, goal-oriented,
self-starter
o Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
o Proven ability to sell to business customers
o Proficiency at building and maintaining
internal and external relationships
o Understanding and familiarity with financial
concepts (NPV, Lease pricing, IAS 38), financial structuring using spreadsheets
and financial markets.
o Experience in or familiarity with vendor
financing.
o Excellent written and verbal skills
o Excellent organizational skills with a strong
attention to detail
o Knowledge of credit, financial analysis,
financial concepts and financial pricing
o Strong working knowledge of Excel and
demonstrable ability to work with complex pricing models
o Experience of working in a team setting but
also able to work independently
o Experience with Channel Sales
o Knowledge of the wider IT market and industry
trends important
o Operate as a team player.
o Able to prioritize projects and effectively
handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Works closely with customers and Oracle license sales representatives to structure payment solutions for acquiring Oracle and partner technology. This function includes\: soliciting end-user payment transactions; training Oracle and partner license sales personnel to identify opportunities for accelerating technology sales through OFD engagement; participating with license sales in forecast reviews; advising customers of acquisition payment options, and generating proposals for payment solutions; obtaining credit approvals, providing financial and transaction analysis to assist credit underwriting; generating and negotiating payment contracts (within OFD business practices); obtaining customer signatures and assisting the Oracle contract review and signing process.
8-12 years of sales experience. Strong presentation skills. Strong knowledge of credit, financial analysis, financial concepts, and financial pricing. BA/BS in Business, Finance or Economics. Experience in IT financing and leasing is a plus. MBA a plus. Proven ability to sell to "C" level customers. Complex contract negotiation experience. Experience with Channels sales. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
